Yay! A twofer today, this morning was fun garage sale hopping, and this afternoon was equally great thrifting! Chris and I discovered a while back this little thrift store that pretty much is all clothes, a few shoes and purses, but mainly clothes...no "stuff" as Chris and I call all the other various odds and ends that you can usually find at a thrift store. You know, like that food dehydrater, I <3 Grandpa vintage mug, and the stack of old books...lol... anyway. This place is unique in that its like utter chaos.....none of the clothes are sorted by type, or size. They are only sort of sorted by men, women, and kids. And even so you still find other stuff mixed in. Also, the main reason we love checking this place out is that the pricing is the same for EVERYTHING in the store. ANd it changes by day, Thursday's are the highes price, at a whopping $1.75 per piece...and each day it goes down after that, all the way to Wednesday's in which everything goes on sale for a QUARTER!!!
So today was $1.25 day and we went to take a gander.....Chris and I each only found one shirt a piece that we ended up purchasing, and I found one I bought for mi madre as well. But my FAVORITE person to shop for, of course, is Olivia, and she is G R O W I N G sooooo so so so much lately, and has been in need of new pants, especially with fall coming up and whaddya know...I found five pairs today! I ended up reasoning myself to put two back, because a couple of pairs were rather similar...but still three jeans in great shape, two with adorable little designs on the pockets, and one super cute pair of bermuda shorts as well....since Texas fall is still 80-90 degrees...haha.
And then, as Chris was trying to pull me from the racks to get me out of the store another great find, this very cute, bohemian-ish brown dress, perfect for fall, with matching hairpiece, and still new with tags...
Needless to say, it was an "I told you so" moment about leaving before I've checked EVERY rack. :)
